SMILE DESIGN

What Is Smile Design?

Smile Design is a personalized aesthetic dentistry treatment plan created by carefully analyzing the patient's facial anatomy, lip contour, gum levels, skin tone, dental structure, and individual aesthetic expectations.

Simply having white teeth is not enough to achieve an aesthetically pleasing smile. The teeth should be in harmonious and symmetrical proportion with one another, the gums, the lips, and the overall facial features.

Smile Design follows a multidisciplinary approach. Depending on the patient's individual needs, several treatments may be combined, including porcelain veneers, zirconium crowns, gum contouring (pink aesthetics), and professional teeth whitening.

What Procedures Are Included in Smile Design?

Pink Aesthetics (Gum Aesthetics):
Excessive gum display when smiling, commonly known as a gummy smile, or irregular gum levels can be corrected using appropriate techniques, including laser-assisted procedures when indicated.

Porcelain Veneers or E-Max Veneers:
Thin porcelain veneers can be used on the front teeth to improve issues related to tooth shape, size, proportion, or color.

Teeth Whitening (Bleaching):
The natural shade of the existing teeth can be lightened by several tones to create a brighter and more vibrant foundation for the smile.

Orthodontic Alignment:
Crowded or misaligned teeth can be corrected using clear aligners, such as Invisalign, or traditional orthodontic braces when appropriate.

Lip and Facial Support:
By carefully adjusting tooth dimensions, proportions, and angles, the design of the teeth can provide aesthetic support for the lips and contribute to overall facial harmony.

Personalized Results:

A More Youthful Facial Appearance:
Teeth that have become worn or shortened over time can be restored to more appropriate proportions. This may contribute to a more balanced and youthful facial appearance.

Greater Social and Personal Confidence:
A smile that feels natural and comfortable can help individuals feel more confident in
